We had a fantastic trip to Boyne Mountain with our families. The resort is well-equipped for all ages, from skiing to the water park, and there's so much to do that we barely scratched the surface. However, our stay was marred by the lack of upkeep in some of the accommodations, which detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
Our room in the Mountain Villa Condo was in desperate need of updates, with mismatched furniture and a musty smell. It felt like it hadn't been properly maintained.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally attentive and friendly, but there were times when they seemed to vanish after taking orders, which was a bit disappointing.
Location
7.0
The location was convenient for accessing the slopes and nearby activities, but the signage around the property could definitely use some improvement.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast buffet was decent, but it often felt picked over and not quickly replenished, which was a letdown during busy times.
Facilities
7.0
The resort offered great facilities, like the water park and various common areas, but the maintenance of the accommodations was a concern.

I had an overall enjoyable experience at Boyne Mountain. The Clock Tower accommodation was delightful, with cozy rooms and good breakfast options. The dining experiences were enjoyable, particularly the buffet. However, I did encounter issues with one stay involving rude behavior from security staff that left a negative impression. While the location is great for skiing, price points can be quite high for some aspects.

The room at Clock Tower was cozy and comfortable, though it could use some updates in bedding. Overall, it felt like a rustic retreat.
Service

Service varied; while most staff were friendly, I had an unpleasant encounter with security regarding a noise complaint that overshadowed my experience.

Boyne Mountain is conveniently located for skiing, but be prepared for a bit of a walk, especially if your room is in the older Boynehof building.
Dining

Facilities like the outdoor pool and spa were great, especially in winter. They added a lot to the overall experience.

Overall, my stay was a blend of highs and lows. The outdoor activities were great, and the dining experience was pleasant, especially the breakfast buffet. However, the lack of clear communication about lift operations and some hygiene concerns made it a less than ideal experience. I appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the quality of the slopes, but the accommodations could definitely use some updates.

Rooms

The accommodations, while spacious, felt outdated and musty, lacking the cleanliness I expected.

My stay at Boyne Mountain Resort was mixed. I loved the beautiful fall foliage and had a good view of Deer Lake from the villa, but the room itself was quite dated and in need of renovation. There were some significant issues with the service related to a room damage charge that left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, while there were highlights like the location and activities, some experiences impacted my overall impression.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a great layout and amenities for a longer stay, but it was dated and in need of renovation. The sliding glass doors were difficult to operate, which was frustrating.
Service
5.0
The check-in process was efficient, but I had a negative encounter with security regarding a baseless damage charge after my stay that was quite unsettling.
Location
8.0
The property is beautiful, with stunning views and lots of activities to enjoy, especially in the fall.
Dining
7.0
I didn't get to fully experience the dining options, but I did enjoy the breakfast buffet—though it could use some variety.
Facilities
8.0
There were plenty of activities to keep guests entertained, including skiing and a good water park, which is great for families.
